Associates, Inc. is a consulting
and actuarial firm in the field of retirement and employee benefits.
The firm was founded by Jerome Gottesman in 1990.
Kevin Flood became a partner in 1998. Spectra assists
approximately 350 plans annually, including 401(k), profit sharing,
and defined benefit plans.
Spectra
is an approved third party administrator for most major insurance
company group annuity 401(k) platforms; and is also an approved
third party administrator for the American Funds RecordkeeperDirect
daily valuation 401(k) program.
The
following are brief biographies of the principals.
Jerome
Gottesman
Bachelor of Science, Temple University
Worked as an accountant in private industry and eventually became
controller for various companies. Changed professions in 1980 and
entered the retirement field profession.
Kevin
Flood
Bachelor of Arts, Temple University
Master of Arts, Villanova University
Ph.D. Mathematics, Temple University
Employed as a Mathematics professor, Moravian College. Changed professions
in 1995 and entered the retirement field profession.
Both
principals have earned the designation QPA, Qualified Pension Administrator,
from the American Society of Pension Actuaries.
